Dating back to the 16th Century, Disblair House is a small family run hotel situated in a tranquil rural setting within its own gardens and grounds, yet only a stone's throw away from Aberdeen International Airport and Aberdeen city centre with its many attractions and amenities. Over the past three years Karolyn and Chris have sympathetically restored their family home to its former glory and now extend a warm welcome to all ther guests who are looking for Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Aberdeenshire.
Accommodation:
At present Disblair House offers three letting rooms to include a Double Room, a Twin Room with zip and link beds, both rooms are ensuite and a Four Poster / Family Room with private bathroom and shower. Three further rooms will be available in the near future. All rooms are equipped with hospitality tray, TV and DVD, internet access and a welcome drink on arrival.
Drawing Room:
Comfort extends beyond the rooms, as residents can relax and enjoy the tranquillity and warmth of the Drawing Room with its welcoming log fire and honesty bar. Your Home from home! A DVD library is also available for those who prefer the privacy of their own room.
Dining Room:
Our breakfast menu is served in the Dining Room, offering everything from Continental to a Full Scottish breakfast and anything in between. Food is freshly prepared,using locally sourced produce and suppliers whenever possible. Breakfast orders can be made the evening before departure for those who require to make a swift and early start.
Evening meals are available at nearby restaurants and country pubs with sample menus available on request. An evening meal can be provided at Disblair House given prior notice. Packed lunch snacks can be provided for residents on request.
Gardens and Grounds:
Disblair House sits in approximately 5 acres of private gardens and grounds where residents can relax and enjoy the open countryside and spend time observing the wealth of flora and fauna around them. During the summer months, come and enjoy the summer evenings by the warmth of the chiminea and watch the sun go down in perfect peace
